Lubukbasung (ANTARA) - Tourism Object of Lawang Adventure Park, Matur Subdistrict, Agam Regency, W Sumatra was currently starting to be visited by many local tourist in the new normal era.
General Manager of Lawang Adventure Park Tourism Object, Sigit in Lubukbasung, said on Sunday that tourist visits to the region reached hundreds of people on Saturday and Sunday.
"On Monday to Friday only about dozens of people visited and they came from districts, cities in W Sumatra and Riau," he said.
He said, the attraction was previously closed since February to early June 2020, but on June 10, 2020 the attraction was opened and many visited at the end of June 2020.

"The first guests stayed at Lawang Adventure Park were from the Pajero Pakanbaru Club with a total of 60 people," he said.
The tourist manager applied the COVID-19 health protocol when entering the tourist attraction.
For guests who come to attractions, he added, their body temperature will be checked, visitors must wear a mask and wash their hands at the location provided.
"This is to anticipate the spread of COVID-19 in attractions and we have conducted a simulation of handling COVID-19 on June 10, 2020," he said.
He added that every guest who came to the tourist attraction paid IDR 25 thousand per person on holidays and IDR 20 thousand per person on weekdays.
Special guests who stay are charged Rp. 250 thousand per person. Lawang Adventure Park Tourism Object with a distance of about 120 kilometers from Padang City has 23 rooms, meeting room, cafe and other facilities.

"In the future we will improve by adding rooms, games for children and others," he said.
One visitor, Marta Fendra added that the Lawang Adventure Park Attraction has a beautiful view, because she can see the beauty of Lake Maninjau from a height and takes a selfie with a family with a background of the beauty of the volcanic lake.
At this location also has cool air, so she deliberately brought families and children to take a vacation after COVID-19.
"At Lawang Adventure Park, there are no games for children, so we are only there for two hours," she said.
