Padang (ANTARA) - Grand Zuri Padang Hotel Management plans to launch a ballroom with a capacity of 3,000 people in August 2020.
"The Grand Zuri Ballroom later will be the largest in W Sumatra," General Manager of Grand Zuri Padang, Surni Yanti said in Padang on Wednesday.
She revealed, during this time we have one of obstacles about events with the capacity of thousands of participants because there is no ballroom to accommodate.
Therefore , Zuri Hospitality Management (ZHM) encourage to build a ballroom with a capacity of 3,000 people.

Because she is still optimistic that W Sumatra will become the destination place of many people, such as to hold events for the Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) of agencies and associations.
So far, events such as meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions have been carried out in Padang and Bukittinggi.
During this time the largest ballroom that was known by many people at the Putra Indonesia University Campus (UPI) Padang.
"In the future, the presence of the Grand Zuri ballroom will be able to accommodate large-scale MICE events,"she said.
In line with the presence of the ballroom, said Surni, it also built the highest swimming pool in W Sumatra.
Then there are additional rooms, which is at this time we still have 70 rooms and later will be 208 rooms.

"ZHM has a commitment to build W Sumatra and about the business strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic, actually, there was no specific strategy to face the COVID pandemic.
She just optimize the enforcement of the COVID-19 health protocol to all employees and in the service of each guest and still prioritize hospitality.
She said, the health protocol that is always done with provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to all employees,for example wear a mask, gloves and face shield during work.
"We encourage every employee to wash their hands, use hand sanitizers, and we give vitamin C every day, and also get a flu vaccine for all employees of the Grand Zuri Hotel in Padang. Then, clean all facilities of the Grand Zuri Hotel in Padang with disinfectants, periodically, especially for items that are always touched by guests, "she said.
