Padang Pariaman will propose Puncak Anai as location for Penas Tani 2020 tourism gatherings

Pariaman (ANTARA) - The tourist attraction of Puncak Anai or Dempo Anai Land in 2x11 Kayu Tanam Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency, W Sumatra will be proposed as one of the locations for the National Farmers and Fishermen Week meeting or Penas Tani 2020.

"Head of Kontak Tani Nelayan Andalan (KTNA), Winarto Thohir has seen the location of Penas Tani 2020 in Batang Anai Sub-district, and got around a to the Puncak Anai tourism object," said Head of the Agriculture and Food Security Service of Padang Pariaman Regency, Yurisman in the Parit Malintang, Wednesday.

While at the location of the tourist attraction, the Chairperson of the Central KTNA was amazed by the view on the Puncak Anai and wanted to make it a meeting site for tourism.

"When he was in Puncak Anai he said it was similar to the peak of Bogor, so this location had the opportunity to be a location for a field trip," he said.

He conveyed that the interest of the Head of the KTNA Center was coupled with the delicacy of hot chocolate that was tasted while visited the Padang Pariaman Regent's Office whose center was built close to the tourist attraction.

It made the Chairperson of the Central KTNA more convinced to assign Puncak Anai as a location for tourism work meetings because it could also see the location of cocoa plantations.

He said the group's arrival was initially to ask about the preparedness of the Padang Pariaman Government, but they were surprised by the location of Penas Tani 2020 which is close to the Minangkabau International Airport and the natural beauty of the area.

Four of the seven activity areas in Penas Tani 2020 will be held in Padang Pariaman while the other will be held in Padang City.

Before this, the Governor of W Sumatra, Irwan Prayitno ensured the opening ceremony of Penas-KTNA will be held in Padang Pariaman and the closure in the City of Padang.
