Painan (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Tourism targets the Bukit Ameh Special Economic Zone/ SEZ in the Integrated Marine Tourism Area/KWBT in Mandeh, Pesisir Selatan District, W Sumatra to be completed in 2020.
"According to information from Tourism Ministry officials that the government regulation on the Bukit Ameh SEZ came out in 2020," said Pesisir Selatan Regent, Hendrajoni, contacted in Painan on Monday.
That, he added, was conveyed by the Deputy of Tourism Destination Development, Dadang Riski Ratman, on the sidelines of the opening meeting of the preparation of the master plan for the development of the Bukit Ameh SEZ at Jakarta today.
He revealed that Dadang Riski and his team had a special assignment from the Minister of Tourism to prepare a master plan for the development of the Bukit Ameh SEZ and provide assistance in preparing other requirements.
At least there are 17 types of administrative requirements that must be fulfilled before the Bukit Ameh SEZ is proposed to the National SEZ Board in the Economic Coordinating Ministry.
Of the 17 conditions, the development master plan, environmental impact analysis document or amdal, land provision and availability of supporting infrastructure.
"One by one these requirements will be fulfilled both by us from the district government as well as interference from the provincial government to the center," he said.
He claimed that it was not easy to fulfill all the requirements but with solid teamwork everything would be realized and completed on time.
While in Pesisir Selatan, he admitted that in the past few years he had encouraged all agencies to focus on preparing SEZ according to their authority.
In the opening meeting of the master plan for developing the Bukit Ameh SEZ, besides himself, it was also present the Assistant of Government and People's Welfare of the Pesisir Selatan, Muskamal, Head of Transportation Service, Gunawan, Head of Public Works and Spatial Planning, Era Sukma Munaf, Head of Local Public Relations and Protocol , Rinaldi and others.
While from the Ministry of Tourism in addition to the Deputy of Tourism Destination Development, Dadang Riski Ratman, there was also an Assistant Deputy for Tourism Investment, Henky HP Manurung, Assistant Deputy for Infrastructure and Ecosystem Development, Indra Ni Tua, and Head of Department of W Sumatra Provincial, Onny Yulfian.
