He requested that the people of the area not panic because of the long queue of vehicles at gas stations in the area.
He said to secure the conditions that occur at this time he distributed more diesel fuel than normal situations.
He mentioned that for normal conditions, the quota owned by W Sumatra for around 1,200 kiloliters of subsidized diesel fuel per day.
According to him the increase in fuel is distributed to secure the current conditions.
There are still many trucks with more than six wheels still using subsidized fuel.
Whereas in Presidential Regulation 191 2014 it is regulated that mining truck vehicles, plantations, vehicles with more than six wheels are prohibited from using subsidized diesel fuel.
"They must use subsidized fuel and that is the mandate of the law. We are currently continuing to conduct socialization, "he said.
He said the facts that were found in the field queuing for diesel fuel at gas stations were cars with vehicles that had more than six wheels.
"There are CPO cars, coal and others. They consume 100 to 400 liters of fuel a day in one filling. We urge that they can use fuel according to their purpose, "he said.
