Padang Aro (ANTARA) - Head of the Department of Tourism and Culture of Solok Selatan Regency, W Sumatra Harry Trisna said that managers of cold water bathing pool tourism destinations must spread chlorine according to dose before opened it to the public.
"For the cold water baths must spread the chlorine according to dose while the hot water temperature is maintained at least 36 degrees celisius so that the virus does not develop," he said, in Padang Aro, Saturday.
He explained, based on the results of vicon with microbiologist Unand, the virus could still develop in cold water for one hour so it had to be given chlorine.

In addition, he said, managers should limit the number of visitors in the pool, just half of the pool capacity to maintain a distance according to health protocols.
For visitors who swim, he encouraged not to urinate and spit while in the pool.
He said in tourist destinations, there must also be a COVID-19 task force, police and military.
"The destination opening time has also been determined, from 08.00 A.M. to 04.30 P.M. and the body temperature must be checked before enter.
Especially for tourists outside the region he said, have to show the results of a swab or rapit test before enter a tourist destination.
At this time he said, For the hot water boom bathing pool tourism managed by the local government has not been opened because it must be prepared carefully and wait for a body temperature measuring device to be available.

"We are still calculating how much pool capacity and preparing body temperature gauges," he said.
Even though the destination would be opened later, it would only be opened twice a week because after use the water must be dried immediately.
"It takes quite a long time to fill the pool water so that it is planned to only open twice a week," he said.
For now tourists can visit other destinations such as Camintoran and Goa Batu Kapal because at there the visitors can keep a distance.
"The two destinations are wide enough so that visitors can maintain a safe distance according to health protocols," he said.
