Pariaman (ANTARA) - The Government of Pariaman City, W Sumatra, stipulated on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and national holidays as days of withdrawal of the retribution of tourist entry to attractions in the area during the new normal adaptation.
"Withdrawal of retribution from 08.00 A.M. until 05.00 P.M.," said Mayor of Pariaman Genius Umar in Pariaman, Thursday.
During the adaptation of the new normal application in the City of Pariaman until June 29, 2020 retribution withdrawal was carried out by the Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling at the entrance of the tourist attraction area.
Whereas withdrawal of parking fees in tourist areas was carried out by supervisors or parking attendants in parking areas.

He conveyed that after the new normal adaptation, the distribution withdrawal was carried out every day by the relevant offices and involved representatives of local residents.
Withdrawal of parking fees in tourism areas after the new normal adaptation period was also carried out by the relevant agencies and involves representatives of community groups with the division of labor.
"But the withdrawal of the parking retribution was requested when entering the tourist area," he said.

He said that from 05.00 P.M. to 10.00 P.M. the retribution withdrawal and parking arrangements was carried out by local residents in the parking locations that had been provided using official parking.
The exact day of the retribution was determined through the instructions of the Mayor of Pariaman Number 062 of 2020 concerning Management of Retributions of Special Parking Spots, Recreation and Sports in the Tourist Area issued June 16, 2020.
He said that to enter tourist attractions in Pariaman, visitors must follow the COVID-19 health protocol, from using masks to washing hands provided by the local government.
It is hoped that by establishing the retribution system, it will not only be able to regulate the number of visits to attractions but also increase local revenue.
