Padang (ANTARA) - Airline passengers to W Sumatra are required to do a swab test and bring a COVID-19-free certificate.
"Passenger are required to do a swab tests, not only rapid tests," said W Sumatra COVID-19 spokesperson, Jasman in Padang, Monday.
He said passengers who arrived at the Minangkabau International Airport (BIM), despite having a certificate that had taken a rapid test, they had to do a swab test at the airport.
Passengers who undergo the test must be isolated until the test results come out and their status is confirmed positive or negative.

"If the test results are negative, passengers can continue to the destination. However, if the test results are positive, they will be handled according to the protocol," he said.
The test was conducted by the airport authority with complete equipment available at the venue and provided free.
Meanwhile for passengers who have pocketed a certificate have taken the swab test, they are not required undergo the test at the airport.
For people who enter by land will still be recorded by the border officers and they are allowed to pass.

"For land routes, there are no swab tests. However, Passengers are still asked to conduct independent isolation when arriving in W Sumatra," said Jasman.
