Although the curve of adding cases in the last few days is high, Jasman hopes that the worst-case prediction of academics does not occur.

Previously, the Governor of W Sumatra, Irwan Prayitno had sent a letter to several hospital directors in the province to prioritize the handling of COVID-19 patients because the number of cases continued to increase every day.

The action was taken as an anticipation step so that the area could still handle and provide medical care to COVID-19 positive patients to break the chain of epidemics.
