Semen Padang FC auction player jersey to help the medical team in W Sumatra

Padang (ANTARA) - The management of the Semen Padang FC team through Kabau Sirah Care is holding a player jersey auction to help the medical team dealing with the spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in W Sumatra.

"The auction is done through the club's official Instagram account (@semenpadangfcid), starting from Monday night (4/20) and will end on Tuesday (4/21) at 08:00 PM," Semen Padang FC CEO Hasfi Rafiq said in Padang on Tuesday.

He explained that not only the jersey players currently playing, but there will also be jersey players who had become a public idol when defending the team nicknamed "Kabau Sirah".

"One of them is the former captain Hengki Ardiles' jersey. The jersey has a high history because it was worn by Hengki when bringing teams from League 2 back to League 1 in 2018," he said.

He further said that all proceeds from the auction would be donated to help the medical team against the corona virus in W Sumatra.

The player jersey auction is a form of team care to ease the burden of medical personnel who handle Covid-19.

"Auction jersey is a form of our concern amid of Covid-19. Especially W Sumatra, which is increasingly worrisome every day," he said.

Jersey auction is opened at a price of Rp1 million, with a multiple auction of at least Rp100 thousand. The winner of the auction will be determined according to the highest bid at the deadline at 08:00 PM and will receive a direct massage notification from Semen Padang FC.

Furthermore, the winners are required to pay in full 1 x 24 hours from the end of the auction period. If they did not do that, the next winner is given to the second highest bidder.
