Traditional cuisine and student art attractions entertain TdS visitors

Padang (ANTARA) - Traditional culinary treats and art attractions from students in the city of Padang Panjang, W Sumatra are displayed to entertain visitors who are waiting for the final stage three of Tour de Singkarak (TdS) on Jalan Sudirman.

"This treat is an additional attraction for the community to enliven the annual event," said Acting Head of the Padang Panjang Tourism Office, Medi Rosdian, in Padang Panjang on Monday.

Culinary provided in the area of Secata B Padang Panjang such as bubur hitam, perkedel jagung, kerupuk kuah, cendol ice, lamang tapai, ketupat kuah gulai and others.

Then the art attractions displayed by students are regional dances, traditional music and poetry attractions on the Jalan Sudirman section, which is the location of the final stage of the three Limapuluh Kota routes to Padang Panjang.

This treat invited the enthusiasm of local residents to be present at the finish location since 10:00 am despite the hot weather conditions.

The competition at stage three starts at 10.00 am from Aka Barayun Waterfall in Limapuluh Kota Regency towards Jalan Sudirman Padang Panjang which is expected to arrive at 02.00 p.m.

This stage, in addition to a longer track lane than the first two stages, also has more difficult trajectory characteristics than the previous two stages.

There are three sprint points and three King of Mountain (KOM) points that must be conquered by the riders.

A number of leading tourist destinations in W Sumatra are ready to welcome the 2019 TdS participants and official teams such as the Harau Valley, the beauty of the worldwide Kelok Sembilan bridge and the nature of Padang Panjang.
