Arosuka (ANTARA) - The government of Solok Regency , W Sumatra, will hold fun bike, paragliding exhibition and Kim's game on November 3, 2019 to enliven Tour de Singkarak event this year's .
"We will hold a fun bike from UMMY to the Singkarak pier, paragliding exhibitions at four points such as Saniang Baka, Singkarak and Kim's game," said the head of the local Tourism Office, Nasripul Romika in Arosuka, on Thursday.
In addition, on October 25, 2019 the community around Lake Singkarak and surrounding schools worked together to clean the area around the pier in preparation for TdS this year.
He mentioned that the Department of Tourism has budgeted Rp800 million for the TdS event.
The budget includes promotions, publications and other preparations. Meanwhile for souvenirs for bicycle race athletes will be requested from sponsors.
"Our budget has decreased from 2018 which reached Rp850 million, so in 2019 there will not be as much activity in 2018," he said.
Then, on 4 to 7 November 2019 it will monitor and prepare various things for the smooth running of the Tour de Singkarak.
For the performance of the arts, he collaborated with the Solok Regency art council which will present talempong pacik music with silat, various dances and others.
Yandri said that the TdS participants this year consisted of 20 teams from 25 countries who brought around 200 bicycle riders.
