Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - West Sumatra Provincial Government accelerates the tender process for projects sourced from Regional Budget (APBD) and National Budget (APBN) to assist economy in the region since the beginning of the year.

"The implementation of the project is closely related to community economy, the sooner the better," Governor of West Sumatra, Irwan Prayitno stated while being contacted from Padang, on Wednesday.

All Local Government Organizations (OPD) of West Sumatra have been instructed to immediately prepare documents for processing at LPSE Procurement Service Unit (ULP) because the speed of the auction depends on it.

Meanwhile, Head of Provincial Procurement Administration Bureau of Asset Management and ULP, Wardarusmen mentioned that documents submitted to ULP will be verified and evaluated by the assigned working group.

In general, under normal circumstances, time is required for auctioning a package of activities is only one month. Then, there is a period of evaluation that is not determined by Presidential Regulation.

The evaluation period will tend to be longer, if the number of packages entered by the OPD exceeds the number of working groups, he pointed out.

Related agency has aired 310 packages of activities with a total budget of Rp601.6 billion. That number is already more than 50 percent of activities which must be auctioned a total of 598 packages with a ceiling of Rp1 trillion.

Of the total number of packages already auctioned, 150 packages have been returned to the OPD to be contracted with the executing official of activities (PPK) and the Budget User Authority (KPA).

Auctions by ULP are sourced from two official posts, APBD and APBN. Of 310 packages auctioned, 307 packages from APBD with Rp598.4 billion budget and three packages from APBN with total of Rp3.1 billion. (cha)
