Ombudsman Opened Public Service Clinic at W Sumatra Grand Mosque

Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia representative of West Sumatra opened a public service clinic in the courtyard of the Grand Mosque of West Sumatra to attract people to be closer to the institution.

"We want to absorb more complaints and reporting from the public, by opening a clinic in a public place at least the presence of Ombudsman will be closer to public," Chief Executive Officer of West Sumatra Ombudsman, Adel Wahidi stated in Padang on Friday.

He delivered public service clinic at West Sumatra Mosque opened from 10.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. in targeting Friday prayers.

"It is also a form of introduction of Ombudsman to public as a maladministration complaint institution," he remarked.

According to him, people can report directly to the officers who are in the clinic if there is maladministration findings.

"We also serve consultations and will answer various questions raised about public services," he said.

Adel added a public service clinic is also one of Ombudusman's 18th anniversary commemorative series on March 10, 2018. (cha)
