204,217 Tourists Visit Agam Tourism Objects During Eid

Lubukbasung, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Tourism, Youth and Sports Office of Agam District, West Sumatra recorded that there are 204,217 tourists visiting tourism objects in the area during Eid 1439 Hijriah.

"They visited 19 tourist attractions in the area. This data was taken during June 15-20, 2018," Secretary of Tourism, Youth and Sports Office of Agam, Jupri stated here on Friday.

He said the total number of visits of 204,217 visitors came from archipelago tourists while foreign tourists are 124 people.

"This is based on monitoring results conducted by officers from Tourism Department in 19 tourist attraction for six days," he said.

The 19 attractions are Bandar Mutiara with 1,148 people visit, Tiku Beach 49,017 people, Lubas Wisata 3,974 people and Lembah Segar 5,996 people.

While in the attractions of Muko-muko 33,548 people, Bukik Batu Alang 1,779 people, Museum Buya Hamka 664 people, Ambun Tanai 3,632 people and Lawang Park 6,161 people.

Then, Tigo Balai Nan Basa 5,574 people, Puncak Lawang 35,386 people, Janjang Koto Gadang 1,768 people, Taman Raya Balingka 2,350 people and Lereng Singgalang 4,116 people.

In addition, there are 2,245 people who visit Sungai Talang, Sonsang 33,447 people, 582 Kamang Kamusan, Raflesia Flower 43 people and Sakti Sungai Janiah 12,797 people.

"Tiku beach, Muko-muko, Lawang Park, Sonsang and Sakti Sungai Janiah are the most visited areas," he pointed out.

He added that there were no complaints from visitors regarding entrance fee, parking and service during Eid holiday. (cha)
