Pariaman asked used plane to Garuda Airline

Pariaman (ANTARA) - The Government of Pariaman, W Sumatra has asked used plane to Garuda Airlines to use as a museum or restaurant to add tourist attractions in the area.

"I only ask for used planes that are not operating to be placed on the Talao Pauh tourist attraction," Mayor Pariaman, Genius Umar said after signing the cooperation with Garuda Airlines regarding services from the airline in Pariaman, Friday.

He said if the request was agreed it could add to the attractiveness of tourism in the area.

In addition to asking for the plane, he also asked Garuda to open flights to Singapore to increase visits to W Sumatra, especially in Pariaman.

"We also ask Garuda to promote Pariaman tourism on Garuda airplanes and magazines," he said.

He conveyed that tourism promotion is not only for tourist destinations but also tourist events in Pariaman.

Meanwhile, Garuda Marketing Sales, Putri Afniazikra said that related to a request from the Government of Pariaman, it would be conveyed to its leadership.

"I cannot decide but the related request will definitely be delivered," he said.

He said so far his side has often promoted tourist attractions in Indonesia by taking turns.

He explained the cooperation between Garuda and the Pariaman City Government was the ease of changing schedules, and free name changes.

"Then there are a number of other convenience services, one of which serves when the office closes," he said.

He added that service in cooperation can also be enjoyed by those who also collaborate with The Government of Pariaman.
