Pariaman, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Mayor of Pariaman Municipality, West Sumatra, Mukhlis Rahman appealed everyone to maintain cleanliness around tourist destinations in the area for the convenience of tourists who visit.
In general the behavior of maintaining cleanliness in the tourist attraction needs to be owned by every individual including traders, local communities and tourists who visit, he explained here on Wednesday (June 20).
It is necessary to maintain the beauty of tourist sites and keep the comfort when tourists from various regions visit Pariaman including during Lebaran holiday 2018.
He added that if traders, visitors and the public in general can maintain cleanliness at tourist sites, it will create a sense of comfort for all parties.
Especially for the trader around tourism objects of Gandoriah Beach and Angso Duo Island, he asserted that food and beverage of traders at the tourist sites should immediately collect then will be transported by local Environmental Office (DLH).
Meanwhile, each visitor to the island attractions later is given a plastic bag so that the rest of foods and drinks can be stored.
"It aims to create a sense of shame and independence from visitors themselves," he added. (cha)
