Lubukbasung, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of Agam District, West Sumatra provides 1,400 packages of cheap food at Ramadhan (fasting month) 1439 Hijriyah which is dedicated to the poors in three regional sub-districts.
Secretary of Cooperative, Small and Medium Business Agencies, Aguska Dwi Pajria in here on Friday (May 25) said that 1,400 packages were allocated to Palembayan Sub-district 1,400 packages, Baso 300 packages and Tanjungraya 500 packages.
The package consists of packaged sugar, packaged cooking oil, wheat flour and groundnut which come from Bulog of Bukittinggi Regional.
Each package worth Rp125 thousand and the public only redeemed Rp50 thousand per package.
Meanwhile, Rp75 thousand is a subsidy from the budget of revenues and regional expenditure of Agam District in 2018.
He said the implementation of low-cost market in Palembayan Sub-district will be conducted on Monday (May 28), Baso Sub-district on Wednesday (May 30) and Tanjungraya on Thursday (May 31). (cha)
