IDI Targets MURI Record for Disabilities Medical Control

Pulau Punjung, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Indonesian Doctor Association (IDI) of West Sumatra is targeting the split of the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) for medical control for 1,100 people with disabilities, in commemoration of the 110th anniversary of the Doctor of Indonesia (HBDI).

"The activity is planned to be held on HBDI warning on May 3, 2018," Chairman of West Sumatra IDI, Pom Harry Satria stated.

It was delivered on the sidelines of remote health service activities conducted by IDI Branch of Dharmasraya District, in Nagari Silago, District Silago.

According to him, there should be ideal formula formulated by IDI with the government so that health service for people with disability is accommodated well.

"This point will be formulated with the Ministry of Health during peak of HBDI that took place in Padang this year," he noted.

He hopes that after the break-up of MURI Record, people with disabilities get more portion in terms of health services.

He said it is also in line with the theme that IDI brings to the 110th anniversary of HBDI nationally this year namely disability benefits societies and individuals.

Meanwhile, Chairman of IDI of Dharmasraya Branch, Emal Sehedi fully supports the MURI Record plan in terms of health checking for 1,100 disability incidents. (cha)
