Three Pesisir Selatan residents recovered from Covid-19

Painan (ANTARA) - Three from eight residents in Pesisir Selatan District, W Sumatra, who were previously tested positive for COVID-19 were recovered.

"One more Pesisir Selatan resident was declared recovered after undergoing treatment at M Jamil Padang General Hospital," said Spokesman of Pesisir Selatan’s Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling, Rinaldi on Monday.

Resident who recovered named Doni Tayes, he served as Head of Public Health at the Pesisir Selatan Health Service, he was allowed to go home on Sunday afternoon (4/19).

Previously, two local residents were also declared recovered of COVID-19, so currently there are four residents who undergo treatment related to the virus.

"One of the four residents treated in Dr. M Zein Painan Regional Hospital and the other three in West Sumatra Health Training Center," he said again.

Per day Pesisir Selatan’s Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling records the number of patients under surveillance (PDP) of three people, two were treated by Dr. M Zein Painan Regional Hospital and one was treated at Andalas University Hospital.

There were 60 people under monitoring (ODP) and 2,313 people from the affected area who entered the local area.

While there are 2,922 people who have completed the monitoring period.

There are 228 people who have completed the ODP monitoring period, and seven PDP who have completed the treatment.

While at the quarantine location in South Nagari Painan there were 72 people undergoing monitoring.
