Padang (ANTARA) - Deputy Governor of W Sumatra Nasrul Abit invites all levels of local government in regencies and cities to continue to explore all the potential of the region in the form of the new destinations and the cultures to strengthen tourism and bring tourists.

Those who are traveling as well as guests who deliberately attend the cultural and tourism events that are held every year are expected to provide direct economic effects for the community.

From September to October 2019 based on the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) calculations, the number of foreign tourist arrivals from September (4,435) to October (6,276) increased by 18.96%, "he said.
He hopes that all components of tourism in W Sumatra can be united so that visits continue to increase. Moreover, the potential of W Sumatra tourism is very able to attract tourists to visit. Natural destinations, cultural and culinary arts owned by the category very satisfying.
