Based on field monitoring, there is an increase in traffic flow in Manggopoh line compared to previous days.
In general, many vehicles there come from Padang, Manggopoh to Simpang Empat, Ujung Gading and Air Bangis.
"There is no traffic jam in Manggopoh track, especially when I use motorcycle to go home this time," one of the travelers from Pekan Baru, Riau, Anto (36) stated.
He deliberately chose two-wheel drive for back and forth at once because it is easier, economical and avoid jams.
The same thing is also said by other travelers from Lubuk Sikaping Pasaman, Devid (34) who wants to go to Padang and South Pesisir District.
He choosed the path of Manggopoh to Padang and South Pesisir to avoid long traffic jam in Koto Baru, Padang Panjang, Anai Valley and Sicincin.
Meanwhile, Head of West Pasaman Transportation Agency, Edison Zalmi reminded travelers to increase prudence because Manggopoh route is prone to accident.
"The roads are getting crowded so that travelers must obey the traffic signs and wear rides like helmets, driving license, vehicle registration, rearview mirror and more," he remarked. (cha)
