Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of Padang Municipality, West Sumatra concentres the market of "pabukoan" or market that sell takjil (light snacks for breaking the fast) in Ramadhan (fasting month) 1439 Hijriah in front of Block III of Raya Market.
"There are 70 merchants who have signed up and got directions to open their sale in that location," Head of Padang Trade Office, Endrizal stated in here, on Wednesday (May 16).
He mentioned form those numbers, there are 48 traders that have registered last year, 12 traders who come from culinary night market and the rest are newcomers.
Before being allowed to sell takjil at the location, traders have been directed and nurtured by the Office of Food and Drug Administration (BPOM).
Pabukoan market will open on May 17 until the last day of Ramadhan 1439 Hijriah from 03.00 p.m. until the time before Tarawih.
Some of the snacks that can be obtained in the market such as side dishes, snacks such as kolak, onde-onde, fried, lapek bugih, pancake, lopis, and others.
As well as some drinks such as juice, fruit ice, syrup ice, coconut, and skotang. (cha)
