Bank's Loan Portfolio To Grow 12 Percent in 2018: OJK

Padang, (Antarasumbar Sumbar) - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) of West Sumatra is optimistic that the bank's loan portfolio growth in 2018 will reach 12 percent.

"If we look at the current performance, we are optimistic to reach 12 percent, let alone the distribution of people's business credit is quite significant," Chief Executive Officer of West Sumatra OJK, Darwisman stated in Padang, Tuesday.

He conveyed until the end of March 2018, KUR distribution has been running so that people's economic programs in West Sumatra will be more developed.

"I am sure that banks will have no difficulty in increasing credit growth," he said.

Previously, PT Bank Negara Indonesia targets the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) in West Sumatra by 2018 to increase compared to 2017.

"For KUR distribution, it should grow because it had dropped only Rp175 billion in 2017 while in 2016 it could reach Rp216 billion," BNI Regional CEO of Padang, Rahmad Hidayat remarked.

According to him, the increase in KUR distribution can be realized because KUR interest rate from nine percent to seven percent. (cha)
