Simpang Empat, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The beneficiary of Hope Family Program (HFP) in West Pasaman District, West Sumatra in 2018 reached 17.606 families, it increased in comparing to the previous year which was only 7,523 families, Official of local HFP Social Companion, Irfan Abrori said in Simpang Empat, Tuesday.
He said that the value of assistance distributed refers to the Decree of Director General of Protection and Social Security Numb. 26/LJS/12/2016 dated December 27, 2016 on the Index of Social Assistance and Program of Hope Family of 2017.
According to him, the component assistance and index assistance of HFP in 2017 consist of social assistance Rp1,890,000, the elderly assistance Rp2,000,000 and the disabilities assistance Rp2,000,000.
"The discharge process is carried out four times in a year accompanied by HFP social companion officers," he remarked.
He mentioned that the distribution of HFP social assistance is given to the families that have been selected by the Director of Family Sosial Security and it is referring to integrated data base.
He explained that there are six categories of beneficiary of HFP social assistance such as pregnant and lactating women, childbirth, toddlers, preschoolers, equivalent primary school for children, equivalent junior high school, equivalent high school, severe disability, and elderly over the age of 70 years.
He hopes by the assistance, it can ease the community burden in West Pasaman. (cha/pi)
