S Solok Grand Mosque Construction To Begin in March

Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The construction of the grand mosque of South Solok, West Sumatra, located in the tea plantation area of PT Mitra Kerinci Sungai Lambai is planned to begin in March 2018.

"Currently, land measurement is conducted by the State Land Office to clarify how much land will be used for the construction of the mosque," Head of Building and Construction Services Department of Public Works, Spatial and Land of South Solok, Yance Bastian while being contacted from Padang, Thursday.

After the measurement, appraisal team will be evaluated. "This assessment to find out how the sale value of land and exchange bolster later," he said.

"The land issue must be completed before March 2018, since March has begun physical work, for this year the land and structures will be erected," he pointed out.

The construction of a grand mosque with panoramic views of tea gardens and Mount Kerinci, it will be implemented with plural year. The total budget for physical is Rp55 billion and multi-year placement,

"We are targeting to finish by 2019," he said.

The land that will be used for the construction of the grand mosque is still in the area of Business Use Right (HGU) PT Mitra Kerinci which will be exchanged for the area of the red tea plantation located near the red plate company.

On Thursday (Jan 4), PT Mitra Kerinci submitted a power of attorney for land measurement to the State Land Office of South Solok. (*)
