Batusangkar, (Antara Sumbar) - The Government of Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra, focuses on fixing up three tourism objects prepared to become a leading tourist destination in the area.

Head of the Department of Tourism Youth and Sports (Disparpora) of Tanah Datar, Edi Susanto in Batusangkar, Friday, said based on circular from the provinces and centers to choose the leading tourist destinations, it prepared three attractions in Tanah Datar.

The three attractions are Istano Basa Pagaruyuang, Puncak Pato and Pariangan Tourism Village.

Even though these three objects are prepared to become a leading destination, but Disparpora also pay attention to several other destinations, such as Lake of Singkarak, Kampuang Minang in Sumpu, Kincia Kamba tigo and others.

For Istano Basa Pagaruyung, until now it has started to liberate the land next to the tourist attraction in order to expand the area of palace, next year will also be added with natives of approximately four billion.

Next to the tourist attraction, Puncak Pato also has begun to be addressed as one of the famous cultural center as a place of declaration of Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah (ABS-SBK).

"For improvement of Puncak Pato, next year has been budgeted worth Rp1.4 billion and coupled with funds burden sharing from the province worth Rp560 million, so there is approximately Rp1.9 billion budget for revamping the location," he explained.

While Pariangan Tourism Village which is known as the most beautiful village in the world has been budgeted worth Rp1.5 billion for the year 2018 to revamp some tourism supporting infrastructure.

According to him some improvements that will be done is the problem of parking location of tourists vehicles, but it is also planned for the procurement of special tour buses for tourists to surround the area.

"In the development of Pariangan Tourism Village area we are also assisted by the Special Budget Fund (DAK) nagari and CSR funds from Hotel Emersia," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Istano Basa Pagaruyuang Ridwan said for 2017 it almost reached the target revenue set by the local government. (cha)
