Batusangkar (ANTARA) - Tabek Patah Panorama Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra continues to improve to attract tourists coming to the area, one of which is by providing a "hammock" to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
"Tourists can enjoy the cool panoramic air of Tabek Patah on top of a hammock and see the scenery under a gentle pine tree," said Reki, one of the pioneer of tourism at Tabek Patah Panorama on Sunday.
He said the panoramic location on the hills and surrounded by pine trees was one of the attractions of tourists visiting the area.
To attract tourists, he provided as many as five hammock units with various colors, and visitors could choose according to their favorite colors.
To enjoy the hammock, visitors only pay Rp 10,000for one unit that can be occupied by two people.
He said the installation of hammocks in the area was not tied between trees like most, but lined up in a wood under a shady pine tree so that it could also be enjoyed by children, especially students who were on holiday while reading books.
In addition to enjoying a hammock tour, visitors can also enjoy the attractions of a hanging bike with a height of about seven to 10 meters, and enjoy a photo spot that is Instagram free.
"For hanging bicycles, they must be guided by officers and wear seat belts," he said.
While one of the visitors Sofi and Yona claimed to feel comfortable with the hammock in Tabek Patah's Panorama, he could lie down while enjoying the sound of pine trees being blown by the wind.
"The place here is very calm, perfect for traveling while reading books and pondering, I like it. Can read books while lying down, "he said.
Previously, to improve the quality of human resources for tourism actors, the local government through Youth, Sports and Tourism Office had conducted training for the local Tourism Awareness Group.
