Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Sumatra River Basin V seeks Environmental Impact Analysis (Amdal) as the basis for rescuing Lake Maninjau to be completed in 2018.
"We are preparing the supporting documents and it targets to complete this year," Head of Sumatra River Basin Region V, Maryadi Utama stated in Padang on Wednesday.
Actually, Amdal is needed to make a Regional Regulation on Lake Maninjau Zoning to arrange the designation of the area around the lake for pollution.
In addition to the process of suctioning from the results of research, it is also needed for the analysis especially for the use of sucked.
He remarked that the alternatives are available by sended samples on several lakes, or on second roads, the samples are transported to a plantation site about 50 kilometers from the lake.
Maenwhile, Head of West Sumatra Environmental Office Siti Aisyah said it is ready to discuss the Amdal document if it is completed by Sumatra River Basin V.
