Education Guidance Institution Supports W Sumatra Halal Tourism

Pariaman, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The West Sumatra Center for Training and Education guidance institution supports provincial halal tourism through education and human resource development sectors, Director of the Institution, Yosa Novia stated in Pariaman on Wednesday.

"The form of supporting for halal tourism is done by conducting english training for students especially in the Integrated Islamic Primary School of Pearl," she remarked.

She noted that English training was conducted for four months with 16 face-to-face meetings.

In addition, in the delivery of teaching materials, students are also guided directly by two Polish and Chilean foreigners.

Two of the teachers were deliberately came from Poland and Chile so that the students can communicate directly and interact when there are tourists visiting Pariaman.

"The goals and targets are clear so that students are trained in foreign languages, especially English as an official international language," she explained.

It is also in line with the existence of Pariaman as a tourist destination and in harmony with the vision of regional mission.

Meanwhile, Head of Basic Education Department of Education of Youth and Sports of Pariaman, Kasni said that the support of education facilitated by Center of Training and Education which helped the progress of tourism and education sector.

He mentioned Center of Training and Education is one of the educational institutions that work together with a number of schools, especially Islamic-based in the province.

The goal is teaching and transforming knowledge to students from an early age and it is expected to be applied in the community. (cha)
