Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) I Branch of West Sumatra stated that Bright Gas non-subsidized gas consumption increased from 18,500 tubes in February 2017 to 43,039 tubes in February 2018.
Unit Manager Communication & CSR of Pertamina MOR I, Rudi Ariffianto when contacted from Padang, Wednesday, explained, the realization of Bright Gas sales of 12 kg and 5.5 kg are 18,850 tubes in February 2017, while in February 2018 the sales reached 43,039 tubes.
Sales of 43,039 tubes consist of 22,312 Bright Gas tubes of 5.5 kg and 20,727 tubes measuring 12 kg.
"We expect the consumption of non-subsidized gas continues to increase every month," he remarked.
Related to the conversion discourse or the transfer of 3 kg subsidized gas to non-subsidized gas namley Bright Gas, it is still waiting for instructions from the government.
Meanwhile, related to the plan of Bright Gas measuring 3 kg launching which aims to succeed the conversion program from subsidized gas to non-subsidized gas, it still has not received any instruction.
"It certainly needs re-registration and we have not received orders to do so, we will wait for government's direction related to the plan," he added. (cha)
