W Sumatra Rationalized Budget For 2018 HPN

Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - West Sumatra Provincial Government rationalized the 2018 National Press Day (HPN) budget in the area until it was initially estimated to reach Rp25 billion, to approximately Rp23 billion.

"The rationalization is carried out in accordance with the principle of budget efficiency, which is used for basic service programs such as education, health and infrastructure," West Sumatra Public Relations Bureau chief Jasman said in Padang on Thursday.

He mentioned it related to the preparation of HPN implementation in West Sumatra in 2018 starting with Pre activities in September-December 2017 and peak activity on February 1 to 9, 2018.

Budget of Rp23 billion is not centered on one agency, but spread to each Organization of Regional Devices (OPD) of West Sumatra Government.

"Each of them filed a budget for HPN support activities, which was accumulated with the budget of the HPN committee up to about Rp23 billion," he explained.

Such a budget is proof of the seriousness of West Sumatra Provincial Government in rolling out the 2018 HPN. He expects that the implementation of tourism theme can be done successfully, smoothly and provide benefits for the region.

Meanwhile, HPN's festivities will begin to be felt in the first week of February 2018, when HPN weekends are held with a number of multi-party activities.

"The HPN is divided into three time periods, pre-week, HPN week and peak of implementation, which is now entered in pre-HPN with activities spread on the Organization of Regional Devices (OPD) and districts / cities," he added.

Socialization of the implementation is also done through banners, which will continue to be propagated for more excitement and activity seen by the community.

As for the invitation, according to him will be spread in January 2018. But it does not include a series of activities yet, especially on the peak day.

That's because the peak event of plan was attended by the president, so the series of activities must adjust to the schedule of the president. (cha)
