Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - The West Sumatra Provincial Government utilizes the Rp71 billion Regional Incentive Fund (DID) received for the award of Rakca 2017 Fund to budget a number of basic service programs by 2018.

"We already know the funds a few months ago as the revenue in the discussion of RAPBD 2018. We together with DPRD have discussed it, and allocated for many activities," West Sumatra Governor Irwan Prayitno stated in Padang on Thursday.

The basic service program according to him is related to health, education and infrastructure.

The number of DID received in 2018 increases, because this year West Sumatra is ranked third largest in the best national financial management.

"The value of West Sumatra's management is perfect, number 2 under East Java, therefore DID revenue also increases," he said.

He hopes next year West Sumatra to get DID through continuous improvement of financial management.

West Sumatra Provincial Government again received the award of Dana Rakca. The award is given because the financial performance of West Sumatra Provincial Government is considered good.

The award was handed over by President Joko Widodo to the Governor of West Sumatra, Irwan Prayitno on the sidelines of the submission of the Budget Use List (DIPA) at the State Palace of Bogor on Wednesday (Dec 6).

West Sumatra has been awarded by Dana Rakca as a result of good financial management, thereby affecting the regional economic growth. (cha)
