Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Hundreds of Muslim pilgrims of Jamaah Naqsabandiyah did Eid al-Fitr prayer 1 Shawwal 1439 Hijriah which centered in here on Wednesday.
From the observation, prayer performed at Mushalla Baitul Makmur, Pauh Sub-district, Padang at 08.00 a.m. which begins by the direction of Syafri Malin Mudo tarekat priest and ends with an Arabic speaking discourse.
"We use the system of munzite reckoning by calculating one Ramadan with month turn, so if Ramadan is held on Monday, June 14, 2018 so that today is 1 Shawwal," Leader of West Sumatra Tarekat Naqsabandiyah Syafri Malin Mudo stated.
According to him, the implementation of fasting and prayers of Jamaah Naqsabandiyah had no difference from other congregations which is done by two raked prayers with seven takbirs in the first rack and five takbirs in the second rack.
Related to the difference between fasting time and Eid al-Fitr, Syafri remarked tat it should not be a problem.
Instead, he invites all moslems to unite and hold fast to Tawheed and the teachings of Allah. (cha)
