Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - The city government of Padang, West Sumatra expressed its readiness to facilitate the movement of a community which focused on activating self-employment in the area.
"There is a Hands Above, Minang Saudagar Company, Genpro that all focused on strengthening entrepreneurship in Padang, we will certainly support them," Padang Mayor Mahyeldi Ansharullah told in Padang on Monday (Sept 18).
The provision of this facility is like giving space for seminars, training and socialization to the community.
For example, a title for entrepreneurship training for Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Padang by one community some time ago.
Even earlier, some communities have initiated the emergence of creative and innovative SMEs, such as business in the field of rendang, soursop, bengkuang or craft.
"We will support as long as the community continues to bring new creative and productive entrepreneurs," he said.
He hopes that after the emergence of the initiator, other communities have created similar and ever-growing communities.
If necessary after success in Padang, it can transmit to other areas.
The existence of the community strongly supports the creation of a productive generation of gold because it is mostly supervised by youth.
Especially the needs of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is currently quite large, because when compared to neighboring countries, the number is still low. (cha)
