Batusangkar (ANTARA) - Deputy Regent of Tanah Datar, W Sumatra, Zuldafri Darma encouraged Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the area to market their products online.
"In order to be able to compete in the market, MSMEs must be able to take advantage of the development of science and technology so that they can go modern, go digital, go online and go global," Deputy Regent Zuldafri Darma said in Batusangkar on Thursday.
He said to increase competition in the digital era, MSMEs must improve the quality of human resources and creativity and dare to innovate.
In addition, support from related parties is also needed through technical guidance or training to provide knowledge or steps in marketing the product.
"With this training and having good and competent speakers is the main step to improve our MSME to be better," he said.
In accommodating the actors and development of MSME, the Tanah Datar regional government has also prepared a promotional building to market products such as food, fashion, and souvenirs.
