State revenue in W Sumatra reached IDR 4.07 trillion until September 2020
Padang (ANTARA) - The Directorate General of Treasury of West Sumatra Province noted that the realization of state revenue in this province at the end of September 2020 had reached IDR 4.07 trillion, or 56.98 percent of the target. State income growth experienced a negative contraction of 1.06 percent.
"Realization of state revenue that sourced from tax revenues reached IDR2.72 trillion, and Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP) reached IDR1.35 trillion," said Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury for West Sumatra Province, Heru Pudyo Nugroho in Padang, Tuesday.
He said that the realization of tax revenues that sourced from domestic tax revenues had reached 45.79 percent of target in 2020. Almost all major tax types contracted in January-September 2020, which was caused by slowing economic activity due to COVID-19, and utilization of fiscal incentives to recover the national economy .
Meanwhile, the realization of tax revenue from Customs and Excise tax has reached 96.65 percent of the target, or a positive growth of 41.62 percent. This revenue was encouraged by increased revenues from export duties / levies, which grew 61.02 percent from last year's revenue in the same period.
Regarding the realization of the third quarter 2020 State Budget Expenditure in West Sumatra until the end of September amounting to IDR 24.14 trillion or around 76.63 percent. The realization of state expenditure includes the realization of Central Government, Ministry / Institution (M / I) expenditures amounting to IDR7.08 trillion and the realization of transfers to regions and Village Funds amounting to IDR17.05 trillion.
He said that in nominal terms, the realization of M / I government spending up to September 2020 was 62.70 percent or better than the absorption of M / I spending in the same period last year of 56.57 percent.
"The realization performance was encouraged by the increase in M / I spending in August and September 2020 for almost all types of expenditure. This was carried out in line with the government's policy to accelerate the absorption of spending as a concrete step to avoid a recession in the third quarter of 2020,” he said.
The realization of this goods expenditure shows that several programs and activities of the Ministry and Institution Work Units had been delayed due to restrictions on mobility in the second quarter of 2020.
The realization of the National Economic Recovery (PEN) program shows a positive trend. In the health sector, the PEN program has realized a number of health incentives for 6,899 central health workers with a total incentive of IDR 50.52 billion.
Then the PEN program for social protection has been realized for the Family Hope Program (PKH) of IDR. 795.23 billion, Social Cash Assistance of IDR. 604.32 billion, IDR. 440.90 billion of Basic Food Cards, IDR.440.43 billion of Pre-Work Cards, and several other assistance programs. such as the Micro Business Productive Presidential Assistance (BPUM) program, subsidized interest for People's Business Credit (KUR) and interest subsidies for non-KUR.
The total assistance that has been issued by the central government through the social assistance scheme to West Sumatra until September 2020 has reached more than three trillion rupiah.
