Lubuk Sikaping (ANTARA) - A number of natural tourist sites in Pasaman Regency are still crowded with people even though the Eid holiday is over, one of them is bathing objects on the Batang Sontang River, Nagari Sontang Cubadak, Padanggelugur District.

As on Friday June 14, hundreds of residents seemed to be thronging the location of the natural bath along the river in the Sontang Ulu.

They prefer to relax and spend time with the family at the location of the bath.

The clarity of the water, the shade of the trees along the river flow and the friendliness of the local residents is an attraction for residents to come to the place, take an excursion with their loved ones.

Ashari (25), a resident of Bogor, Jawa Barat, admitted that one of his goals was to go back to his parents' hometown in Sontang, because he missed the clarity of the river's water.

"Yes, one of the purposes of the trip is to take a bath here. It had been for two years not back to hometown. The cold, cool and clear water makes you miss, "he said.

According to him, the atmosphere of the bath in the river still feels beautiful and is suitable to be used as a tourist destination while relieving fatigue from the daily routine.

"The cool and natural flow of the river is equipped with rocks and very clear water and rippling and bumpy water makes anyone who visits here feel at home for a long time," he said.

Aside from being a bathing location, the beauty of the Batang Sontang river is also suitable to be used as a spot for taking a photo.

"We can also take advantage of the beauty of the Batang Sontang river as a selfie photo spot," Asari said.

One of the other visitors Diana (28), chose to spend all day with the family under the shade of trees by bringing food prepared from home.

"We came here, there were 30 families, all of them, while going back and forth in the village, so we went here before going back to Bandung," Diana said.

Another thing with Nissa (24), she said she came to the bathing place in Batang Sontang with dozens of young women in her village. Besides being free, the tourist attraction of the bath is easily accessible because it can be reached by four-wheeled vehicles.

"We chose this place because it was nice, beautiful and cool. The people are also friendly. The river flow is fine. "It's also easy to access the road here asphalt," she said.

She hopes that natural sustainability along the river flow will be well maintained. Because, the beauty of nature and the clarity of the river water is an attraction for people to come to visit.

"Residents around the river must protect nature. Don't destroy the forest, so that the clarity of the water is maintained. Thus the economy of the local community will grow, along with the crowds of tourist visits, "she said.
