Padang Strengthens Asset Management Systems Based on Information Technology

Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of Padang Municipality, West Sumatra strengthens regional asset management systems based on information technology together with Supreme Audit Agency in order to maintain the unqualified opinion on WTP, Padang Official, Didi Aryadi stated.

Didi Aryadi in here, Wednesday said that the steps taken are applying Regional Management Information System and Regional Property (Simda-BMD) among the regional and school devices.

With the programmed application of the center, asset management is more focused and centralized and under strict supervision, thereby reducing the occurrence of irregularities.

For Padang, he remarked, it certainly becomes an advantage, given the increasing number of programs and activities that require the management of goods and integrated assets.

Therefore, to introduce the system, it has invited representatives of OPD and schools to participate in training applications used.

Important technical guidance is needed to equate perceptions among asset managers and goods in each agency.

"In addition to the application, according to national direction, Padang will also conduct census of regional goods," he remarked.
