Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Head of the Integrated Licensing Service and Integrated Licensing Service (DPM PPT) of West Sumatra, Maswar Dedi said Padang-Singapore direct flights bring positive effects on local investment, one of them in the field of fisheries.
"Investors from Singapore use the direct flights to explore the potential in West Sumatra, one of them is fishery," he said in Padang on Monday.
West Sumatra has 1973.24 kilometers of coastline with a large potential of catching fisheries such as tuna, skipjack and grouper.
Data on that potential has been summarized to be presented to investors who are genuinely interested.
Land to set up factories is also available at Padang Industrial Park with a total area of 616 hectares.
The location is 28 kilometers from Teluk Bayur and 3.5 kilometers from Minangkabau International Airport (BIM).
There is a two-way bypass access road to connect Bayur Bay, Padang Industrial Park and BIM.
In addition to the field of fishery, fruits are also product that ogled by investors from Singapore such as oranges, pineapple, watermelon and durian. (cha)
