Payakumbuh (ANTARA) - The Government of Payakumbuh, W Sumatra will still add several facilities in the Batang Agam area in Sungai Pinago area, West Payakumbuh.
Head of The Payakumbuh Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) Muslim in Payakumbuh, on Tuesday said at the moment there was still some construction underway.
"This year there is a budget from the central government of Rp10 billion, currently the construction of the budget is almost complete," he said.
Some of the construction that was carried out from the budget such as asphalting roads, making parking lots and structuring riverbanks that are prone to landslides.

He said there were still several facilities that had been planned to be built in the Batang Agam area, namely sports place, running paths and several facilities for tourism.
"So, in addition to being used as a tourist or recreation area, the Batang Agam area can also be used as a place to exercise," he said.
In addition, Payakumbuh City Government was also completing the construction of street lights. The PUPR Office targets that in the next two weeks the construction of street lights can be completed.

"At present it is only being done on the right side of the Batang Agam. The lighting will be built in all places that are crowded by the people," he said.
For this reason, he said, his party really hoped that there would be an additional budget from the central government. So that the development plan that has been prepared can be implemented.
Some facilities that currently exist in the Batang Agam area such as Skate Park along with sports facilities and parks that can be used for adults and children.
