Rastra Distribution in S Solok Difficult Areas is Done Directly for Four Months

Padang Aro, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of South Solok District, West Sumatra with Bulog has completed the distribution of prosperous rice (rastra) to beneficiary families (KPM) in the area, and for difficult areas it is directly done for four months, Head of Social Affairs, Social Service and Village Community Empowerment, Dicky Nanda Utama stated.

There are three difficult areas in the district namely Nagari Lubuak Ulang Aling 69 KPMs, Lubuak Ulang Aling Tengah 66 KPMs, and Lubuak Ulang Aling Selatan 33 KPMs.

Distribution of rastra for the three villages does not only use land transportation, but also must cross the river of Batang Hari by using outboard boats.

The recipient in 2018 is still the same with 2017 at the number of 8,269 KPMs.

The distribution of rastra for the three nagari comes from the Solok warehouse or it is no longer from Sijunjung.

In rastra distribution in 2017, three villages arreared the redemption money around Rp40 million, because the distribution to the location is also late.

Earlier, Head of Bulog of Solok Region, Adriati said South Solok District still has arreared of 2017 rice redemption amounting to Rp40 million.

In general, the distribution of rastra now is done every month or it is no longer per quarter and free of charge," he added. (cha)
