S Pesisir Operates Two Semi-modern Markets

Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of South Pesisir District, West Sumatra immediately operates two semi-modern markets in the area which are built with a budget of up to Rp8 billion. "The development of the two markets, namely Kambang Market in Lengayang Sub-district and Koto Berapak Market in Bayang Sub-district, are budgeted in 2017 and in the near future both of them will be operated," Head of Department of Cooperatives, SMEs, Trade and Industry of South Pesisir, Azral stated in Painan, Tuesday. Kambang market is budgeted Rp5.8 billion, while Koto Berapak Market with a budget of Rp2.7 billion. "Actually there are four markets that were built in 2017 but specifically Painan Market building is directly used, while Tapan Market construction is continued this year," he explained. Semi-modern market development is one of local area focuses in the hope that the markets in the region, especially the sub-district market become comfortable visited by either traders or buyers.
