Painan (ANTARA) - The Government of the Pesisir Selatan Regency, W Sumatra, began setting up 200 rooms lodging as the racers and officials at the prestigious race Tour de Singkarak (TdS) 2019.
"We set up 200 rooms in Pesisir Selatan, but after surveyed by the Committee organizers only 30 rooms which were declared worthy," said the head of Division, Tourism, youth and sports, Yohendro Nasti in Painan, on Friday.
However, he still given a deadline to fulfill the criteria, so the other rooms are categorized decent.
"There are a number of requirements in order to be declared a decent start of the availability of an air conditioner, the availability of bathing place and the other ," he said.
It will utilize the time allotted to open talks with the owner of the Inn so they deign to meet its requirements.
At least some of the racers and officials must stay on the Pesisir Selatan, so racing activities also affect local businessmen.
"If it is not possible in Pesisir Selatan, the rest is in the city of Padang or any other location," imbuhya.
In a race of 2019 TdS, Pesisir Selatan get two tasks at once as the location of the finish and also the location of the start.
