Padang (ANTARA) - Tourists visiting the Bayang Sani waterfall attraction in Pesisir Selatan Regency, W Sumatra Province find it difficult to reach the levels of two to seven waterfalls due to uphill, scrub and slippery roads, even though its charm can be enjoyed at every level .

"The first level of this waterfall has a height of about 80 meters, consisting of a three-pronged waterfall and this is the largest waterfall in the Pesisir Selatan District," said Doni, a visitor from Kotobaru, Pesisir Selatan.

From the location of the ticket purchase, we can see how beautiful the waterfall is. According to the story of the owner of the stall, Bayang Sani waterfall is visited by local, national and foreign tourists.

Seeing its beauty, and enjoying the coolness of the waterfall by swimming.

To reach the second level waterfall visitors can ask for help from one of the local residents to accompany because the waterfall is rarely seen by anyone who visits it, in addition to the road uphill, through the bush under the footpath also climbs the hill as far as approximately 500 meters by requiring travel time about 20-25 minutes to the location.

The atmosphere around the second level waterfall is very different from the first level, in the second level the location is very humid and dewy, almost the whole location is covered with forest plants and lush trees, it seems there are still many people who do not know about this location, because it still looks very natural.

At this second level waterfall there is only one waterfall that stands upright as high as 30 meters and surrounded by very large rocks. the water is very clear green and bluish sign of this waterfall is very deep.

Bayang Sani waterfall originated from the jungle of the hills, the water is very clear, the air is clean and cool with incredible views, this is a gift for the people of Pesisir Selatan.

According to Doni, the facilities built by the local government are still minimal and only a place to change clothes and toilets is feasible. The entrance is in the form of a small road and to enjoy the beauty of the visitor is only charged Rp. 5,000.

To increase tourist visits to the waterfall, it needs serious handling from the government starting from infrastructure, public facilities at the location, culinary and souvenirs. (*)
