Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Padang Beach in Padang Municipality, West Sumatra will be the center of the traditional culinary festival to welcome the National Press Day (HPN) on February 7 to 8, 2018 which is held by local municipal government.
"This is part of tourism agenda of Padang this year, and it will showcase various Minangkabau culinary like rendang," Head of Tourism and Culture of Padang, Medi Iswandi stated in Padang on Monday.
He mentioned from the plan that has been arranged, the activity will involve the community, especially those engaged in culinary business to cook and peddle typical food on the beach.
Tourists can visit the bridge and buy as well as taste the food served.
The concept for HPN still depends on the committee of activities, but it will seek 'Marandang festival' or make rendang which is also part of a typical culinary introduction.
From the direction of the leadership welcomed HPN, his side has also coordinated with other agencies to secure activities involving many journalists throughout Indonesia. Including appealed to the public to maintain a conducive attitude and atmosphere as well as promote the advantages that exist in Padang.
