Nagari Pasia Laweh Agam has 20 tourist destinations

Lubukbasung (ANTARA) - Nagari Pasia Laweh, Palupuh District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra has 20 tourist destinations that have been developed by the Village government in attracting tourist objects to the area.

Wali Nagari or the Head of Pasia Laweh Traditional Village, Zul Arfin in Lubukbasung, Sunday, said the tourist attraction had been well managed by the village government.

"The management has been carried out since the last three years. The Sport Youth and Tourism Agency has provided guidance. It will be a loss if people don't visit the tourist attraction in Palupuh," he said.

He said, the 20 tourist objects, such as Air Terjun(waterfall) Tourist Destination in seven points, Ikan Banyak (many fish) tourism object in two points, Kolam Air Panas(hot spring pool) in three points.

After that, the Bird Breeding Tourism Object with a wooden age of about a century, the 38-meter-long Grave Tourism Object, Galau Batu Baraguang.

In addition, Agro Ladang Ateh Tourism Object, Panorama Pintu Angin (Wind Door), Puncak Pinus and others.

This tourist attraction is visited every Saturday and Sunday. Every day about 100 to 200 visitors to the tourist attraction.

In the future, these tourist objects will be managed professionally, so that the number of tourist visits will increase.

Meanwhile, Head of the Agam Tourism and Youth Sports Office, Syatria added that his party had provided guidance to the Pasia Laweh Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in developing the tourist attraction.

"We propose Pokdarwis Murai Batu Batuah Nagari Pasia Laweh to the Indonesian Tourism Industry Association (GIPI) Award and Pokdarwis Murai Batu Batuah in the top five at the West Sumatra level," he said.

Agam has 160 tourist destinations spread across 82 villages. For the development of this tourist attraction, it can be done using village funds.
