Payakumbuh (ANTARA) - The Government of Payakumbuh City, W Sumatra was preparing independent management for the Batang Agam area which was currently increasingly crowded by residents.
Deputy Mayor of Payakumbuh, Erwin Yunaz in Payakumbuh said on Tuesday that the independent management of the Batang Agam region was expected can make the economic sector in the region increasingly stretched.
"This region was created by the government to be used by the community as well as possible, good management will make the economic sector grow in this region," he said.

Related to the management form was still formulated whether given to the private sector or by related parties in the Payakumbuh City Government.
To develop this region, he would also prepare activities that can support economic growth in the region.
"However, the number of activities will still consider about the natural balance in the location," he said.
Regarding the admission fee for visitors, he said that he had not yet thought about it in that direction because he was still focused on how to make people visited and used the area as a tourist destination.
"And the most important is the public can obey the health protocol when they are in the location and protect the environment. So that this region would always be maintained," he said.

Health protocols that must be obeyed by the public such as using masks, keeping a distance and others. Later on, hand washing places would also be prepared.
The implementation of this health protocol also applied not only to the Batang Agam area, but also to other tourist areas in Payakumbuh.
"The implementation of rules in tourism is the duty of the Tourism Office and it must be implemented. We did not want that there would be additional cases of COVID-19, especially when Payakumbuh there was no more positive cases," he said.
