Arosuka (ANTARA) - The Government of Solok Regency, W Sumatra will soon complete the infrastructure in tourist objects to meet health regulations and protocols entering a new normal era.

"The application of health protocols in this tourism object is to prevent tourism become a new cluster of COVID-19 deployments. For this reason, we have started monitoring and evaluating which tourist objects that ready to open in new normal era," said Head of the Solok Regency Tourism Office Nasripul Romika at Arosuka on Wednesday.

There are three priority tourist objects, namely Dermaga Singkarak, Alahan Panjang Resort and Cultural Tourism Village.

In this tourism object should enforce the health protocol standard, the manager should provide a thermo gun and disinfectant booth, and the manager and visitor must wear a mask.

Tourism objects must also have a means of washing hands, hand sanitizers, and restrict visitors according to the new normal concept.

He will train tourism human resources that are adapted to the new normal concept, and provide facilities for tourism destinations and tourist businesses.

He will also socialize through social media to the public about the rules in tourism objects according to the new normal concept.

Meanwhile, especially for cultural tourism in the cultural village, he called the Cultural Tourism Village to be a new alternative to travel in the new normal era.

Because cultural tourism is not tourism that prioritizes mass visits, but more focuses on the quality of tourism, such as cultural education and experience during the visit.

"But in Nagari Jawi-jawi Guguak (cultural village) has been equipped with infrastructure according to health protocols and technical rules according to the concept, we hope that Solok Regency tourism continues to stretch amid pandemic," he said.
