Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - PT Pertamina is adding biosolar supplies to West Sumatra to anticipate the high demand from public that makes it difficult to find subsidized fuel in the area.
"Biosolar supply in West Sumatra from 1,000 kiloliters per day adds to 1,100 kiloliters per day," Branch Manager of PT Pertamina MOR I of West Sumatra Region, Rahman Pramono Wibowo remarked through a press release in Padang on Tuesday.
He added that the amount will be adjusted to the needs of West Sumatra people, both in the transportation sector and for fishermen.
"Biosolar stocks are supplied to Petroleum Fuel Terminal in Teluk Kabung, Padang with projected availability up to 15 days ahead," he pointed out.
He hopes that the increase in supply can fulfill the needs of community, both in transportation sector and fishermen in the region of West Sumatra.
He added that biodiesel is a fuel subsidized by government based on Presidential Regulation 191 of 2014 and its designation is clearly regulated. (cha)
